On April 9th, 2008 "a Chile Summer" premiered at Brewvies Cinema Pub in Salt Lake City, Utah. The premiere was a great success. The 8:00 show sold out by 7:30, and with a couple hundred people wanting to buy tickets we arranged a 9:00 show that also sold out.

In all, over 300 people attended the viewing and we raised over $1500 for the Chill Foundation- a troubled youth snowboarding program.

We would like to thank everyone that attended and we would also like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding due to the large turnout.

Background:

Last summer a select group of skiers, snowboarders, and surfers finished the winter in the states and headed south for the summer to Central and South America.

The goal was to ride, ski, surf, and explore Latin America and share the experience and the culture through film, photography, and editorials. Storms, snow, and swells dictated the timing and destination of endeavors.

With the film completed, it is now being entered into film festivals world wide. See Film Festivals list.
